On the 29th of this month, at Ultra Music Festival’s 25th Anniversary, Carl Cox will unveil Evolution, apparently his most ambitious fully live show to date. Armed with drum machines, sequencers, synthesisers, and an arsenal of sound, he will be building, shaping, and reconstructing every track live on stage.

The underground techno scene aims to ignite during Miami Music Week as HI-LO presents HILOMATIK Miami at Wynwood Market Place on Thursday, 27 March. Building on the success of the label's debut showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event 2024, which apparently sold out with over 8,000 tickets, this event will feature a lineup of artists, delivering a night of energy and beats.

This week, Spinnin’ Records took home the award for Label Of The Year at the 2023 Electronic Dance Music Awards during Miami Music Week. The annual EDMAs, who are voted on by the public, aim to celebrate artistic excellence across all DJs, producers, remixers, performances, and electronic music professionals ‘to ensure the genre of dance remains a thriving part of the industry’.

Dim Mak Records’ Miami Music Week showcase has been part of the event since 2009 and this year the label moves from the Oasis Wynwood venue to a more intimate 21+ MAPS Backlot. Featuring a lineup of label talent to soundtrack the party, it includes Steve Aoki, special guest Timmy Trumpet, 2DEEP, Bok Nero, BRKLYN, CHYL, JUUKU, K?D, and ‘special surprise appearances from friends and extended family’.
