Following the announcement of Cream's Birthday Part 1 (see yesterday) which is already on course for another sell out, the brand recently announced that the birthday celebrations continue into November with Part 2 to take place on Saturday 29 November.

This weekend, across Friday 3 and Saturday 4 October, Tribal Sessions is taking over Sankeys in Manchester in a  celebration of electronic music for its 14^th birthday party. As a possible epicenter of dance music culture, Tribal is possibly one of the UK’s defining residencies at this well-known club, and since September has been back in Manchester each and every Friday offering some great DJs and producers across the house and techno spectrums. 

After their guest appearances at label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s ‘House of Madness’ residency in Ibiza this summer, Wolfpack and We Are Loud unite once more, only this time in the studio rather than behind the decks, for the recent release of ‘We Are One’ on Smash The House.

After a big season for the label in Ibiza, the Defected In The House Closing Party at Booom takes place tomorrow night, with several of the residency’s key performers set to appear one final time. Nick Curly and Desolat favourite Guti are likely to serve deeper, darker delights, whilst Noir, Oliver $ and Sam Divine will likely explore housier flavours.  

Following the sell out success of Creamfields which attracted a record breaking 70,000 people at the weekend, Cream recently unveiled the line-up for their 22^nd Birthday bash on Saturday 11 October. After his performance in the Super You&Me arena at this year’s festival, Dirty Dutchman Chuckie returns to the Main Room, where he will be joined by Oliver Heldens.

Next month at the Ministry of Sound in London, The Gallery presents Infected Mushroom on Friday 17 October following recent events with fellow psy-trance artists Neelix and Astrix. As the Ibiza season draws to a close and reunion parties pop up across the UK, EGG London is taking care of those early winter blues with a special Ibiza workers reunion party on 10 October. Headlining the party are wAFF, Mike Mago and Him_Self_Her.

Dubfire recently unveiled his most ambitious achievement to date, which will take place at this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event - dubfire:liveHYBRID. Premiering worldwide on 16 October at the Roest Warehouse during the annual ADE, Dubfire’s debut live show reinvents the concert experience by weaving together elements of 2D and 3D animation with live audio and lighting to explore the intersection of science and technology - of man and machine - and their resulting evolution and inevitable fusion.

‘Dim Division’ is the latest artist album from Miguel Migs: the veteran US producer who enlists an array of vocal talent on this moving, vibrant and cohesive LP. Miguel is possibly one of the most respected DJs, producers and label owners in house music; arguably, an artist whose influence on the current musical landscape cannot be overlooked. 

After a sell out show featuring featuring Carl Cox on 12 September, Glasgow based clubbing promoters, Colours, continue to warm up the months ahead with some top gigs at the city's Arches venue. From Saturday 27 September until 1 November, the brand will run a series of branded club nights featuring big name DJs, and first up this Saturday is Zoom, which will take you back to the year 2000.

Almost a decade since his first LP (‘Future History’ - 2004), Joris Voorn gets set for the release of his third studio album ‘Nobody Knows’. Since 2009’s ‘Balance14’, a compilation mix CD that saw Joris knit together a huge amount of tracks to critical acclaim, the Dutch producer and DJ may have spent as much of his career honouring his early techno influences as he has challenging them.

Armin van Buuren will soon be releasing ‘Armin Anthems’, a new release containing the top Armin van Buuren tracks from the last 20 years, as voted by his fans. As a thank you to all those who have supported him over the years, Armin apparently wanted to give back by letting the fans completely determine the track list of his next release. 

Brodanse drop ‘The Ride’ featuring Cari Golden today on Danse Club Records. Following on from Drew Hill’s ‘Talk To You’ which saw major support from the likes of James Zabiela, Gorgon City and Pete Tong in securing his ‘Essential New Tune’, Danse Club Records gets into its 15th release with the head honchos themselves; Brodanse. 

Oliver Heldens releases ‘THIS’, his new collaboration with Sander van Doorn, out on Monday 6 October via DOORN Records. With his breakout year going well, Oliver delivers one of his biggest songs to date as he continues to push dance music with his deep, groove-driven big-room style. 

Although Dutch producer Man Without A Clue has been around for well over a decade, it has only been over the last few years that his career has progressed to the next level. During that time the reaction he has received with his productions has been fantastic.

Jaguar Skills hooks up with Chords and Matti Roots for his next release, ‘Lust’, forthcoming on RAM Records. The vocal of Matti really brings light to the seasonal feel this track creates, as an arpeggio of notes underpins each high-hitting voice crescendo. Bright but not without substance, Chords’ production style is also instantly recognisable. 

Hardwell has been put forward for nomination in this year’s MTV’s European Music Awards. Competing in the categories for the ‘Best Dutch Act’, ‘Best World Stage Performance’ and ‘Best Electronic Act’, it’s an indicator of how his sound has grown during these past few years.

As one of the longest running techno mix series the Cocoon compilation family entails the likes of Sven Vath, Extrawelt, Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Koze, Steve Bug, Henrik Schwarz and Michael Mayer to name a few. For 2014 the annual compilation series moves up to letter N and as ever the 12 track selection features some fresh talent alongside some of the bigger household players.

‘Unfinished Business Volume 2’  from Luke Solomon again unearths rare tracks and previously unavailable records from the likes of JM Jackmaster, Nail, Chez Damier, Louie Vega and plenty more. Along with his recently re-launched Business As Usual: Live from the Washhouse radio show, the compilation sees Solomon acting as informed selector for the mix.

Rockstar Games^® recently announced that Grand Theft Auto V^® will arrive on the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One on 18 November 2014, with the PC version to follow on January 27, 2015. The game will feature a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever. The Rainbow Venues get set for their A Decade of Music event, which kicks off this Friday; its biggest and best series of parties in the venue’s ten-year history. This run has been curated and programmed to showcase some top acts in electronic music across its selection of clubbing spaces. Nowadays, The Rainbow is spread over eight venues, ranging from cosy, intimate spaces, right through to vast, open plan industrial warehouses, including basements, gardens, factories and high tech venues with 3D mapping. 

Andy C has unveiled his new single, ‘Heartbeat Loud’ featuring Fiora, his first release since signing to Atlantic Records. The track was premiered on Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record’ and can currently be heard via Andy’s Soundcloud.

FUSE will be making their debut appearance at the Amsterdam Dance Event, following on from a season of parties on the White Isle. The UK based imprint and event series will be throwing a party on Wednesday 15 October at the city’s Undercurrent, a glass warehouse situated behind the Central station.

Lowtemp label head Gramatik has teamed up with PledgeMusic, a direct-to-fan music platform, to feature Cinematik, a bundle consisting of three brand new projects that will include never before seen short films and music. After the success of his ‘In Search Of Sunrise: Dubai’ compilation and then subsequent single, ‘Blast’, Richard Durand has joined production forces with US songstress Fisher for his latest release, ‘In Your Hands’. With a string of trance vocal credits to her name (including work with Thrillseekers, Moonbeam, Filo & Peri and Sean Tyas), US chanteuse Fisher should not be in need of an introduction. 

British-Japanese producer, Maya Jane Coles, opens a new chapter in her career as she releases an EP in collaboration with British based duo GAPS; aka Rachel Butt and Ed Critchley. The ‘In Dark, In Day’ EP is out now on Beatport and available from all other outlets from 22 September via Maya’s own label; I/AM/ME. All four tracks on the EP are produced by Maya; with vocals delivered by Rachel. All the tracks on the EP were also co-written by the pair with the EP also featuring guitar work from both artists.

Those attending this month’s SSW4 can look forward to experiencing four rooms of music on 60K worth of sound system, savouring an A-list line up of international headliners at Preston's newest Weekender event. SSW4 takes place over the weekend of Friday 26 September through to Sunday 28 September at The Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard, 15 minutes from both Liverpool and Manchester airports and just off the M6, and should appeal to clubbers from all corners of the UK and beyond.

For the first time in its history, Ultra Music Festival is introducing a minimum age of attendance to its flagship festival in Miami. Beginning with its 2015 edition, confirmed for 27, 28 and 29 March 2015 at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, Ultra Music Festival will now only allow those aged 18 years and older to attend the event.

SMD recently announced that their new album 'Whorl' is available for streaming in its entirety on The New York Times website this week. The band also revealed that they will become XOYO in London’s fourth quarter residents of 2014, following on from Eats Everything, The 2 Bears and Jackmaster. The duo will take the mantle this October, bringing their Delicatessen curation to XOYO’s dancefloor.

Audiojack’s Gruuv label returns with a four-track package from David Pher, entitled ‘The Wanted’ and backed with a Philip Bader remix. Berlin, Germany based producer David Pher aka David Otterbein has made his mark over his five year standing in electronic music, kicking off his career with a split release alongside Two Armadillos via Tsuba, which led to cuts appearing on ViVa, Back & Forth and a collaborative remix with Andre Crom of DJ W!ld for OFF Recordings. 

23-year-old producer/DJ, 3LAU, recently released ‘Somehow’ featuring Bright Lights, his new collaboration with DJ Dash Berlin. Out now via Armada Music on Dash Berlin’s album ‘We Are’, this release is 3LAU’s first foray into trance, and has already been well received by fans who heard the Hardwell On Air preview. 

Techno outlet Drumcode recently announced the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by Italian techno producer Sam Paganini. Though he has been active since the mid-90s, recent years have been successful for Sam, with techno EPs coming on labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. 

Kenneth Bager is taking his Music For Dreams event back to Sir Rocco in Playa D’en Bossa for a three-day free festival starting this Friday 5 September until Sunday 7 September. A mix of special guest DJs are lined-up for the occasion, who will be channeling the sounds of house, Balearic, and chilled beats every day until nightfall.
