‘Signs & Wonders’ is the new album from Blue Six, Naked Music’s chief maestro, Jay Denes. Delivering a treat for Blue Six and Naked Music fans alike, Jay’s signature blend of elegant and deeply emotional music is ever-present as he delivers one of his most passionate albums to date, drizzled with seduction, melancholy and honesty. The singers featured on the album are long time cohort Aya, who has appeared on many a Naked Music release and has also worked with Sweetback and Lenny Kravitz; Tabitha Fair, who was a Nashville country singer, now residing in NYC; and contemporary Jazz singer, Catherine Russell, who performs at her own sell out shows at NYC’s Lincoln centre and also sings with David Bowie and Steely Dan, among others

Running for one week from Monday 8 – Sunday 14 December, house music label Defected Records will open a pop-up store in East London’s Boxpark retail park. Open from 11.00 – 19.00 – and until 20.00 on Thursday – and located at Boxpark Unit 26, 2 Bethnal Green Road, London, the store will be selling exclusive new lines of clothing, including beanies, Defected and Strictly Rhythm sweats and tees.

2014 has been another decent year for Kevin McKay's Glasgow Underground imprint; the label has seen decent chart successes from a line-up of established artists, numerous radio plays on Radio 1 and releases have gained hype and support from creditable DJs in the scene. 

To ring in 2015, Paul van Dyk will be the first to utilise Mixify’s new two-way live streaming Clubcast technology to perform personal sets to be streamed live into venues throughout Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and North America, all in a single 24-hour period. 

Emerson Todd has been doing well since emerging onto the scene in 2008. Now resident in Berlin, the Australian producer and DJ has found favour with labels like Saved, Upon.You and Apparel and here turns out the 17th release for Danse Club Records. It features one original cut with remixes from Sascha Dive, label heads Brodanse and Nathan Barato.

As a label synonymous with delivering big tracks, ‘Love Like This’ from Tommy Trash & Henry Fong featuring Faith Evans, is already proving a stand-out release on the Revealed Roster for 2014. Australian Tommy Trash is no stranger to the industry, with both Grammy and VMA nominations for his productions under his belt, Trash now joins the label for the ‘Love Like This’. 

The seventh edition of Rio Music Conference (RMC) will take place from 4-17 February 2015. In the midst of the biggest street party in the world, the event will bring together numerous artists, producers, journalists and industry bods, mixed in with thousands of party-goers.

Issac Christopher returns to the Madhouse Records imprint this with the ‘Deep Seduction’ EP, comprising three original tracks from the London based producer. Issac is a Dutch producer currently residing in North London, initially starting his career releasing material via the United Soul Sound Records label, while the past two years have seen him offer up EP’s via Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records. 

Poker Flat Recordings has been dealing out underground house music since 1999; from the debut  'Loverboy' through the Bugnology series, albums and club hits, Steve Bug's imprint has unearthed new talent, possibly developed rising stars and welcomed veterans into the fold. Steve reputation as a DJ, producer and music connoisseur is about to carry the imprint to its 15th anniversary, which will be celebrated with its finest collection of raw talent yet.

Individually, with ‘Invader’ and ‘Lucir’, they’re two producers who’ve done well for Vandit in recent months. Now, studio-side, Berlin meets Birmingham as Chris Bekker and GodsKitchen resident Paul Thomas bring together their own production, ‘Zoundz’!

English producer Ben Hackman, better known to most as simply Hackman has made huge shapes over the past four years since making his debut on RAMP sub-label PTN back in 2010. Ben has since gone on to unveil material through other imprints such as Greco Roman, Well Rounded and Futureboogie Recordings. Now he releases his latest track, the ‘Carry On’ Ep, which is out now on 2020Vision.

On 9 December, Ghostface Killah will release his latest project, a revenge concept album, entitled ’36 Seasons’. The album was produced by The Revelations, a Brooklyn NY based soul band/production team. They were joined on select tracks by The 45 King, Fizzy Womack (a/k/a Lil Fame of M.O.P) and Malik Abdul-Rahmaan. 

Adding to his accolade of smash singles, DJ Fresh teams up with MOBO and Brit Award winner Ella Eyre to kick-start 2015 with their piano-led, high-energy collaborative track ‘Gravity’.

Justin James refused. is in its ninth instalment of refused. radio this month, and this time it’s hosted by Spain’s Soulrack. Each month, refused features one of the artists on their roster to host a one hour radio show featuring fresh techno while highlighting the labels own music and artists. This episode is a follow up to the recent release of Soulrack’s EP ‘Zener’ on refused. 

Defected’s House Masters is back with this latest edition celebrating the varied and illustrious career of one of the forefathers of the UK dance scene, Joey Negro. Joey is the most well-known pseudonym of British DJ, producer, remixer and label owner Dave Lee. Over the last three decades, Lee has recorded under a plethora of other monikers including Akabu, Doug Willis, The Sunburst Band, Jakatta, Raven Maize, Sessomatto and Z Factor, and since 1988 was one of the first British artists to incorporate disco samples into a house music style he is so recognisably identified with.

Sébastien Léger recently launched his Temple Of Lions label and announced a 20 Years retrospective album project. With a more melodic, slower soundscape now being accepted within the scene, December 2014 is the ideal moment for him to launch his new Temple Of Lions label to feature the melody rich productions he has been creating and championing for many years. Taking its inspiration from an enlightening trip to Bali, the label will feature parts of Sébastien’s musical palette that have been waiting in the wings for the scene to move forward and develop in a more relaxed, open-minded way.

Hercules & Love Affair proudly recently released the latest in a long line of music videos: a tribal, post-apocalyptic vision directed by AlexandLianne with styling from Bernhard Wilhelm and choreography from Josh Johnson, the co-artistic director of 'Sad'. Shot using Infra-red-converted digital cameras – which capture a completely different light spectrum – the film is directed by AlexandLianne, former collaborators with some of the biggest names in music including Kylie Minogue and Tiga, as well as global brands Nike and Mercedes.

This week marked the onset of a unique month-long collaboration between Serato, Ninja Tune and the New York based artist/producer and serial collaborator Nick Hook across music, art and film. 

With the original version of ‘In Your Hands’ already out and had success in the Beatport trance chart, the label recently release the track’s remixes. First out of the remix gate is Dutchman Nick Faulhaber, who seeds his rework with thumping drums, hard hi-hat crashes, inflammatory pitch bends, big stabby riffs and angle-grinding distortion. 

Returning to the label to deliver the 24th edition in the 'Selector Series' is the Italian tech house DJ and producer, Pirupa. After an impressive three years, Pirupa has accomplished much, with releases topping the Beatport charts, remixes for Tube & Berger, Pete Tong, Chus & Ceballos, Sinisa Tamamovic, NiCe7 and Riva Starr, as well as performing at many clubs and festivals across the globe.

With Ellen Allien at the helm, the Berlin-based BPitch Control has positioned itself as a mainstay imprint since its formation in 1997, which over the years has stacked up a good back catalogue of releases from names that include the likes of Modeselektor, Paul Kalkbrenner, Ben Klock, Apparat & Sascha Funke. Following on from her debut LP ‘Solstice’, released on BPitch back in 2013, Silvie returns to its family with ‘Crying Love’.

Gallic cynosure Agoria debuts on the Hotflush roster with ‘Hélice’ – a compelling, propelling record that envelopes and encompasses. Blending an ambience of eerie sci-fi over suspense-laden peaks and troughs, it goes after body and mind in equal measure.

Yesterday saw the release of Max Chapman & Kieran Andrews’ ‘The Factory’ EP via Lost Records, backed with a remix from Philip Bader. Max has been carving out a career over the past couple of years with material surfacing on Hot Waves, Lower East and Kaluki, as well as his own Resonance Records coming into prominence. Here he pairs up with London’s Kieran Andrews for another release, returning to Lost Records as a follow up to their ‘Temperature’ EP released on the label earlier this year.

Singapore-based company, XMI, recently launched its most advanced portable speaker to date. The new X-mini CLEAR features a custom 2.1 audio system with proprietary TRI-AMP design. It delivers studio-quality sound clarity, with sound separation that XMI believe exceeds current standards in the portable speaker market. The XMI Research and Development team developed the custom 2.1 audio system featuring an active front-firing 70mm long-throw subwoofer with their signature ceramic drivers for a distinct separated low bass, unusual in portable audio products today. 

Snowbombing recently revealed more acts for 2015, including Sub Focus, MK, The Martinez Brothers and Tensnake, who are among the new acts set to perform at the 16th edition, taking place from 6 -11 April, 2015, in Mayrhofen, Austria.

Sven Väth's Cocoon label has now been pushing the techno sound of the White Isle for a decade and a half: as such the German outfit celebrates in the only way it knows, with a two disc compilation. Sven himself has also just celebrated a big birthday, his 50th, and did so with the likes of Luciano, Richie Hawtin and DJ Koze, the same sorts of talents that have made Cocoon at Amnesia each week this past summer such a success. 

Sankeys round of their 20^th anniversary year with the three parties across Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The brand has celebrated its 12-month long odyssey, taking place in Manchester and also Ibiza and more recently, New York. The space in Ancoats has witnessed a season of shows, featuring big names as well as some of the next wave of talent. 

To bring in the first evening of 2015, Maya Jane Coles has lined up a very special back-to-back-to-back showcase, which will take place at The Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall London, with three artists on the international circuit combining for the first time ever. 

After the success of their first CUFF label showcase back in August, Ministry of Sound will host Amine Edge & DANCE on Saturday 6 December from 11pm ‘til 7am. The French duo are known as the figureheads of G-House, a movement they created. 

A key member of the Minus family for almost a decade, Gaiser has just released ‘False Light’, his third artist album on Richie Hawtin’s label. The ten-track affair shows the American born, Berlin based techno DJ/producer to have continued to evolve since his last full length and again is a very complete and contemporary techno tale.

Producer, DJ and label head Robbie Rivera likes to march to the beat of his own drum. The pioneer of his self-described “tuff, sexy, tribal house music” sound, the Puerto Rico native has continued to make tunes for over 20 years with his Latin influences and rhythms. 

For the ‘Tsuki’ release with Monkeytown, Robot has used the skills of his and various friends into five driven tracks that show a readiness for the dancefloor. Now living in LA and enjoying the California sun, his textures have become even more dense, with each sound ripened to perfection. The tiniest detail in this EP seems like a precision instrument. Even in its most delicate moments, where a track is laid bare to let one single sound fill the room, everything is in its place. Robot Koch just won the German composer award as “Best Electronic Composer of the Year.”  

Calvin Harris recently released another video from his brand new hit album 'Motion'. 'Outside’, featuring Ellie Goulding, is the second track the pair have released together and highlights Ellie's dusky vocal and Calvin's ability at writing a pop song, and will no doubt be another big collaboration for the duo.

Tiësto teams up with the Thefuture.FM for a whole new way to listen to, interact with, and share music. Acting as an ambassador for the new music service, Tiësto will demonstrate The Future.FM’s mobile compatibility, music sharing capabilities, and social media-friendly tools among other things. 

On 16 December, Moby will re-release ‘Hotel: Ambient', the long out-of-print, limited edition companion disc to the 2005 album, ‘Hotel’, in a remastered version, with the original tracklist filled out with previously unreleased tracks. In conjunction, Moby will also present his first-ever live performances devoted to his ambient material. The first performance will take place on the release at the Masonic Lodge in Los Angles, CA. 

‘Live In Toronto’ is the sixth and latest installment of John Digweed’s Live In… mix series, following the  release of ‘Live in Miami’ back in May 2014. With the release date set for 8 December 2014, the compilation is now available for pre-order, exclusively from Bedrock Records’ official store.

Noisia recently announced the first details of their 2015 Noisia Invites tour. Having hosted the largest electronic music festival in African history in 2014, Ultra South Africa™ is returning for its 2015 edition with bigger plans; kicking off with the recent announcement of a Phase One lineup. With over 40,000 attendees passing through the gates across the two-day event earlier this year, the event returns to the landscapes of Ostrich Farm in Cape Town and the Nasrec Expo Grounds in Johannesburg on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 February 2015 respectively.

Argentinian producer and sometime Circus Company, Cynosure and Thema artist, Ernesto Ferreyra returned to Cadenza to release his second LP today, ‘Some Kind of Sign’.
