Ringing in the new year with two new tracks from her first artist album ‘Relentless’, Sydney Blu unveils ‘Vnderground’ and ‘It Doesn't Matter’ out on KMS Records today. Relentless will showcase the new Sydney Blu sound, releasing each single on various underground labels throughout 2015. The ‘Vnderground EP’ is one which caught the attention of label boss Kevin Saunderson, and is Sydney's debut on KMS Records.

Ultra Music Festival recently revealed their Phase Two line-up, complete with a World Premiere festival performance that is some 10 months in the making. ‘Jack U’, the collaborative production project announced by OWSLA boss Skrillex and Mad Decent head honcho Diplo back in April 2013, will finally get its festival inauguration at Ultra over the weekend of March 28-30 at Bayfront Park, Downtown Miami. 

Late night sessions at the Albert Hall is a new series of club shows from The Warehouse Project taking place at The Albert Hall throughout February and March, the latest addition to the Trof family. Steeped in history as a long-forgotten Wesleyan chapel, the Grade II-listed venue has been resurrected by Trof as a music venue and club.

Gorgon City's latest single ‘Ready For You Love’ received its first exclusive play on R1 recently as Zane Lowes' ‘Hottest Record in the World’ and features the vocal talents of MNEK who co-wrote the track with Matt and Kye.

Sosumi Records recently launched, Kryder’s brand new record label with the aim of allowing previously unsigned artists to reach new audiences globally. The label will serve as a completely free outlet that will release underground music with unauthorized samples. The first release on Sosumi is Kryder’s very own ‘Tarzan’ which debuted on his BBC Radio 1 mix and garnered support on Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano’s Essential Mix. 

Savant recently revealed plans for his ambitious 'Space Tour' which starts on February 20 and continues through late April 2014. Savant dropped his 20+ track album 'Orakel' late last year, which worked well for him, reaching the #1 position in Norway and #3 in the US iTunes Dance charts.

Markus Schulz recently announced that his artist album, ‘Scream 2’, will be released February 21 on Armada Music. Spanning 17 tracks, Markus has put his heart and soul into a work that’s a complete album from start to finish and that features vocalists including the inimitable CeCe Peniston.  

In September 2013, Alesso made the announcement that an Uprising was coming and the following month he embarked on his tour with several sold-out dates, from The Shrine in Los Angeles, to Pier 94 in New York, and the O2 Brixton Academy in London. 

Serbia’s Shoxy and Alexandar Ivkovic are regarded as two of the finest DJs on the Serbian circuit and now they get set to release their debut on Desolat, titled the ‘Red Beans’ EP. The EP showcases the duo’s talents across four rhythmic house mutations. ‘Red Beans’ is an impressive opener which is characterised by its clever arrangement and off-kilter beat. Soaring synths, a chanting vocal and further deft sounds are added to the mix resulting in an engrossing and hypnotic track.

Francesco ‘Phra’ Barbaglia, AKA Crookers kick starts the New Year with a brand new video for his forthcoming single, ‘Heavy’. Recognised for his hi octane live shows and productions, this release may do well over the next few months.

Dannic has continued to build his reputation over the past year, playing to various crowds all over the world, including those at EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and Dance Valley as well as performances at world famous clubs like Pacha in Ibiza, Hakkasan in Las Vegas, Ministry of Sound in London and Green Valley in Brazil. 

Rachel K Collier provided the vocals for Ray Foxx’s track ‘Boom Boom (Heartbeat)’. One of the memorable songs of the summer, the track was the latest in a series of collaborations for the 23-year old self taught grade 8 pianist and alumni of the Royal Welsh School Of Music.

Dutch DJ/producers, W&W, get set to release their next production, ‘Bigfoot’, out 10 February on Mainstage Music. The track is a sound that builds with pounding synths before it cracks under the weight of a huge drop.

Despite having a summer that saw him help change the musical outlook of Pacha Ibiza with his Wisdom of the Glove night, Guy Gerber recently announced the creation of his own label called Rumors.

DJ/producer, Andy Caldwell was recently nominated for a 2014 Grammy for “Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical” for his remix of fellow Nettwerk label artist Delerium’s ‘Days Turn Into Nights’ - a track from the Canadian outfit’s latest studio album, ‘Music Box Opera’.

BT will host and perform at NAMM Foundation's 29th Annual TEC Awards (Technical Excellence & Creativity) on Friday, Jan. 24, in Anaheim, California. Performing two original songs during the ceremony, BT will be accompanied by vocalist and songwriter JES, who collaborated with him for two tracks on his #1 iTunes and Beatport album, ‘A Song Across Wires’, released in August 2013. 

Kicking off 2014 with a bang, Cream recently announced the return of the Grammy nominated electro/house DJ/producer Steve Aoki who hits UK shores in April for his biggest shows to date, taking place in London and Manchester.

Capcom Vancouver recently released a new title update for “Dead Rising 3” in advance of today’s launch of the game’s first DLC episode, ‘Operation Broken Eagle.’ The update introduces a host of improvements to single-player and co-op gameplay, including a variety of performance and stability upgrades, and fixes for issues related to achievements, UI updates, SmartGlass and more. Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings celebrates its 20^th anniversary this year and to honour the occasion, the Philadelphia-based DJ, producer and label founder is currently on a world tour with the label, appearing tonight at fabric London. Ovum will also be releasing some extra special music throughout the year, starting with Ben Klock and ROD remixes of Wink's 1996 classic 'Are You There', out on 25 March.

The 19^th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) recently announced that it will take place from the 15^th to 19^th of October, 2014. Over the last three years the electronic music event has almost doubled in size, and ADE's organizers are confident of maintaining above average year on year growth rates for the foreseeable future. At the 2014 edition, the organization expects 350,000 visitors from around the world.

February for Egg London kicks off in a big way on Saturday 8 February with Night Train welcoming Frankie Knuckles and Lee Foss. DJing for four hours, Frankie Knuckles is one of those undisputed legends of house music that rarely plays. From back in the day on Chicago’s South Side, where it all started over 30 years ago to the present day, 'The Godfather of House' Frankie has long pioneered the definition of true house music.

UK dance group Above & Beyond recently released a new acoustic performance of ‘Sun & Moon’. The video is taken from their forthcoming ‘Above & Beyond Acoustic’ concert film, which will premiere on Friday January 24 on Vice's THUMP channel. For the film, Above & Beyond performed some of their best-loved songs acoustically as part of a 15-piece band, across four sold out shows at London's famous Porchester Hall - showcasing the group’s musicianship and songwriting.

Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Morgan Page recently announced that he will be extending his residency at Wynn Las Vegas for another year, marking the third year of his relationship with Wynn. Page's first date of 2014 will be on January 11 at Wynn's indoor/outdoor venue, Surrender, where he will play the second Saturday of every month. Additional dates are to be added throughout the year.

Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records drops ‘We Turn / Fishtank’ by Redway this January, comprising two A-side tracks from the British artist, with two of MadTech’s leading artists on production duties, namely Citizen and Thefft. Robbie Redway, better known as simply Redway, is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and instrumentalist based out of Southern England. 

Harder… Darker… Stronger… was the tag-line and ‘Disconnect/Reconnect’, the third studio album from The Japanese Popstars, proved to be a big success for John Digweed’s Bedrock label. Gary Curran and Gareth Donoghue kick-off the 2014 release schedule with a revisit to three of the album’s boldest tracks, with heavy-duty remixes from London based Sharooz and Barcelona’s Coyu.

Greek producer Sek drops his new single ‘Quim Ninja’ via Ray Okpara’s Ama Recordings this month, which comprises four original tracks from the up and coming producer. Sek has been releasing a steady stream of material for the likes of Large Music, OFF, Hudd Traxx and Apparel Music since 2009, as well as releasing on Ama Recordings Various Artists release in 2013, where he returns for a full EP here. 

Luke Bond and singer-songwriter Roxanne Emery (sister to Garuda label chief Gareth Emery), get heavy in the new music video for their collaboration 'On Fire,' which Gareth has pronounced "the biggest track in my sets this year." With a mixture of melodic trance and emotional highs and lows, 'On Fire' works just as well on the dancefloor as it does at home. It’s already gained neary 180,000 views in just a few days.

Australian DJ and production duo Peking Duk have joined forces with Laidback Luke to release an end of year tune in the form of the electro house track ‘Mufasa’, which has just been released on Mixmash. Capsulating the essence of Laidback Luke’s Dutch house sound whilst throwing in Peking Duk’s flavour into the mix, the track is full of big bass, bouncing synths and dirty drops. Proving to be a good combination, the trio create a vibe that laces tribal inspired chants alongside a hypnotic marching beat.
