To celebrate Thanksgiving season, Dim Mak Records is giving away the Thanksgiving Dinner Roll [Sampler], a free, downloadable playlist of some of their biggest remixes of 2013. 

The third single from Ty's ‘Kick Snare & An Idea’ series is out in a few weeks, bringing more new music, plus remixes from DJ Spinna and a host of other producers. ‘Kick Snare & An Idea Part 3’ is out on 20^th January on Tru Thoughts. 2013 has been a remarkable year for the hugely respected UK producer and rapper, Ty, with ‘Kick Snare & An Idea’ Parts 1 & 2 both scoring BBC 6Music play-listing. 

Grammy-nominated international DJ/producer Steve Aoki made his national network TV debut performance on Tuesday night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Aoki was joined by Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda from Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum alternative rock band Linkin Park as they performed their collaboration single ‘A Light That Never Comes’ for the first time on national television.

David Guetta, together with the United Nations and international aid organisations recently launched a music video for the  new  track  ‘One  Voice’,  in  support  of  “The  World  Needs  More___”  campaign  to  raise   funds for humanitarian emergencies. The track and video were penned and performed for the campaign by music artist Mikky Ekko.

Dubai’s Audio Tonic label brings the heat once more this November with a two-track single from Serbian producer Mass Digital. Boris Mijolic aka Mass Digital is a young producer based out of Novi Sad in Serbia, and the past few years have seen Boris take huge strides in his career. Racking up releases on imprints such as Frequenza Limited, Neurotraxx and Pacha Recordings, he’s treading the lines between house and techno infused with a melodic touch. 

Music For Dreams is releasing the second in a trilogy of Café Mambo compilations on Monday 16 December 2013 on download and stream. ‘Café Mambo – Twilight Sessions’ is a 14-track album featuring the sounds that sound-tracked the sunset as celebrated on the terraces of the Ibiza venue this Autumn. 

Off the back of a single on Moda Black, and a remix of Romanthony on Glasgow Underground, British duo Mia Dora drop ‘You In The Future’ via Kerri Chandler’s MadTech imprint. Released as a Beatport excusive, it gets its general release on the 25 November. Mia Dora, have been making a name for themselves since stepping onto the scene in 2010, earning their initial wave of support off the back of remixing Roots Manuva’s, ‘Get To Get’ for Big Dada, which was picked up by Radio 1’s Giles Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs and Rob Da Bank.

Leicester Square in London, UK officially became Xbox One Square yesterday for the launch of Xbox One. Possibly the biggest week in video game history kicked off with live outdoor performances from chart toppers Plan B and Katy B, and the midnight opening of a pop-up GAME store in a 10,000 ft² Xbox One gaming zone in London’s Trocadero.

As the global EDM bubble inflates towards bursting point with many DJs seeming to be constantly chasing bigger stages, larger crowds and increasingly over-inflated fees, in 2014, Seth Troxler plans to do something completely different. Since forming six years ago, Brighton based production duo Prok & Fitch’s DJ sets are becoming extremely popular. Their productions boast a multitude of DJs and producers, having worked with Kraak & Smaak, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke and Moby, with their tracks gaining support from DJs such as Mark Knight, Axwell, Carl Cox and Fedde le Grand. 

‘Tantra’ is the new single from Germany’s Timo Maas, taken from his latest artist album, ‘Lifer’. You gotta love a slice of trance and when the Dutch pairing of Benno de Goeij and Piet Bervoets, aka Rank 1, produce a new track it's usually worth listening to. 2013 has already brought the M.I.K.E. collaboration 'Elements Of Life' and the big room 'Floorlifter'. Their latest track, ‘13.11.11’, rolls out at a tempo of 131.111BPMs, with its deep, bass-building atmosphere. Backed by top FX, de Goeij and Bervoets drive home its first elevating lead line, one that seizes the track’s centre ground. 

As a highly respected DJ/producer in the trance scene, Alex M.O.R.P.H. has already collaborated with some of its biggest names. His former collaborations includes work with Paul van Dyk and numerous other collaborations with artists including Armin van Buuren, Rank 1, Protoculture and most recently Jerome Isma-Ae on ‘Bang’.

As 2013 draws to a close on a busy year for Cocoon Recordings, the label releases the latest track from London-based Tim Green. Tim has had releases on labels such as Four:Twenty, Get Physical and Dirty Bird over the last few years and his new Cocoon production will be his third one for the Sven Vath’s label.

Having picked up DJ Mag’s ‘Best Compilation Album Of The Year’ Award for the first part of the ‘Way Of The Warrior’ album series in 2011, in celebration of 50 Shogun Audio releases, the label returns with part two of their label showcase.

The Nice ‘n’ Ripe sound is being re-visited by Boston funksters Soul Clap, who have curated, compiled and mixed this new two-disc selection. This release will be a mixed physical CD, a digital release that includes all 30 individual tracks plus the full-length mix, and finally a four track vinyl sampler, all of which are available now.

He also holds a residency at the The Cat and Dog nightclub in Tel Aviv, playing alongside many big name DJs.

Danny Howard has been supported by the likes of Judge Jules, Pete Tong and BBC Radio 1, and has had releases on labels like Spinnin Records and Ministry of Sound, but, there’s one guy that’s been championing him from the start - Paul Oakenfold.

Manchester's James Mulholland (aka Techniques) releases his debut single, 'Switch' via Kitsuné this December. A songwriter and musician who began making his first recordings from the bedroom laying down drums, basslines, guitars, synths and vocals all using one microphone and as James recalls, "whatever else that was lying around".

Back in March 2013, DJ/producer Luciano landed in South Africa with Bridges For Music for a series of workshops and events in the townships of Soweto (Johannesburg) and Langa (Cape Town). Bridges For Music is an international non-profit organisation supporting responsible development of electronic music in emerging areas, with a focused on promoting social cohesion by using music as a tool for empowerment. 

US producer/DJ and two-time Grammy Nominee Morgan Page has released his new single ‘Against The World’ (featuring Michael S) this via Beatport and November 19 via all other DSPs. The track comes out just in time for the November leg of the Morgan Page Presents 3D tour.

Finnish duo Super8 & Tab are about to serve up trance and progressive "The Way You Want" on the second phase of their North American tour, which will take them to seven cities in ten days. 

New London based production duo Cuts Deep make their debut on Toolroom with a remake of the infamous soulful classic 'The Revival' by Martine Girault. Giving the lush vocals a fresh lease of life, Cuts Deep add rolling beats and deep basslines to reinvent the track. The package also features four remixes from up and coming producers, including Copy Paste Soul, Giom, Deep City Groove and Long & Harris. 

Ibiza’s club and lifestyle brand, Pacha, returns with ‘Pacha Original House Anthems’, featuring 60 massive tunes across three discs, taking in the golden years of house music. The album provides the perfect retrospective serving up a collection of some of the most iconic and well-loved anthems.

Diynamic returns to the capital this Christmas for its biggest ever London showcase. Since its formation in 2006, Diynamic has possibly grown into one of house music’s finest imprints. Following a top summer residency at Sankeys Ibiza and label showcases at ADE and the Warehouse Project, their next stop will be London. Taking place on Friday 27 December at Electric Brixton, label boss Solomun will be joined by two of his label mates, H.O.S.H. and Stimming [Live].

Some albums simply represent a pivotal point in the history of electronic dance music and one of those is arguably the Chicane album 'Behind The Sun'. Officially released in 2000, carrying the tracks 'Saltwater', 'Autumn Tactics' and 'Don't Give Up', it was one of those albums that clubbers into all styles of dance music embraced.

Dada Life were recently confirmed as the Guinness World Records® holder for the world’s biggest pillow fight! The achievement happened in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, involving 3,813 pillows, the participants and Dada Life.

House music. Six or so years after a journalist said dance music was dead it’s once again the dominant force in electronic music. How long that will last who knows or cares. It always comes round again because people always love losing it on the dancefloor to a rhythm that matches their heartbeat.

It offers funked-up renditions of holiday favourites including ‘The Little Drummer Boy’, ‘Sleigh Ride’, ‘Joy To The World’ and ‘Silent Night’. While the original release is a great soundtrack to holiday new remix of ‘Little Drummer Boy’. 

‘Marco Bailey: The Documentary’ is a full on look at the DJ/producer from fellow artists, friends, colleagues and of course, Marco himself. Viewers will get to see what it’s like to be Marco from the most insiders’ point of view of all, Marco’s. He’s been one of the constant fixtures in the techno scene, from the burgeoning rave movement of the early-1990s to his global touring card today.

Mobilizing the global dance community around the AIDS fight, World AIDS Day 2012 saw Tiësto release the first ‘DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES’ compilation album. Produced by Musical Freedom in collaboration with (RED) and Recreation Worldwide, the album went to #1 on the iTunes dance charts in 33 countries, and set a new precedent for dance music artists supporting the work of The Global Fund to fight AIDS.

One year after MTV presented Kris Menace’s collaborative album ‘Features’, he returns with quite possibly his most stunning body of work yet – ‘The Entirety Of Matter’. Upon first listen the sheer emotion ploughed into Kris’ futuristic synth-scapes is omnipresent. 

2014 has been yet another exceptional year for house music. From underground club anthems to crossover, chart-topping hits, the wealth and variety of house created, played and danced to has been staggering, and it is this wealth that ‘Most Rated 2014’ now celebrates.

All Trap Music 2 has curated an even bigger, bolder and heavier follow-up collection boasting 33 tracks from artists such as Major Lazer to Massappeals, Baauer to Buku, Diplo and beyond. 

Sonny Fodera and Amber Jolene have once again reunited in another collaboration exhibiting their complimentary talents as artists. Jolene is responsible for the vocals on tracks including Mowgli ‘Back In The Day’ and Myomi ‘Sun In My Eyes’ as well as experiences both recording and performing with famous English ska band Madness.

Israel Bicher and Shaulli Harrari aka Las Salinas are back with another track. Their brand new collaboration with tech-trance artist Genix ‘Say Another What’ endorses once again Las Salinas’ reputation as bright young talents of Israel’s electronic music scene. After ‘Stone Pony’, ‘Chipsy Kings’ and ‘Bada Bing’, their latest track should prove to be just as big.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike get set to release their new track ‘G.I.P.S.Y.’, co-produced with Italian duo Boostedkids (Dany Spada and Frankinelli), on Smash The House on 11 November. 

Revealed Recordings’ latest release is from Dutchman Sandro Silva with his track, ‘Payback’. Sandro is still on a high off the back of his platinum-scoping track, ‘Epic’ alongside Quintino, and with his recent club track, ‘Puna’.

In season-honoured tradition, going back half a decade or more, this December 14^th Paul van Dyk will begin his final countdown to Christmas with another bravura performance on his home-turf of Berlin. In the setting of the German capital’s über-fine Kesselhaus Culture Brewery, he’ll be celebrating another year of Vandit Records sounds, sights and experiences. Support on the night will come from Arnej and Alex M.O.R.P.H.  and the event will also play host to the release party for the new PvD-mixed ‘VONYC Sessions: 2013’ compilation.

The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers were recently confirmed to headline Snowbombing in 2014. Selling over 25 million records worldwide, The Prodigy will be tearing onto the Forest Stage to hopefully treat Snowbombers to a high octane, adrenaline-fueled performance. The Chemical Brothers said: "We’re very excited to play such a unique festival, and a new one for us. We have been working on new material for a while now, so every DJ show gives us a chance to share music with people… let's have a ball!"
