Patrick Topping returns to his Trick label this summer with his new track, ‘Energy’. The Geordie artist and his imprint have been part of the electronic scene for a few years now, apparently giving rise to an array of breakout talent and sounds like Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing, and Schak to name a few.

DJ/producer Patrick Topping aims to ignite Ibiza’s summer season as he brings his Trick label to Hï Ibiza’s Theatre to host an exclusive four-date residency this month. This series will feature a lineup of guests from across the house music spectrum as he steps in to take over from Australian DJ Fisher, who goes on paternity leave for the whole month of June.

Fresh off a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record feature with his 2024 ‘Take Me Away’, Lewis Taylor has been a core part of the Trick family, appearing on the label’s 2023 ‘Lethal Bangers Vol. 1’ V/A and lineups at festivals such as Creamfields and WeAreFestvl. The Newcastle artist now returns with his debut solo EP on Topping’s imprint, ‘Kickin’ In The Beat’.

Tronic boss Christian Smith returns to Patrick Topping’s Trick with two-tracker ‘Vortex’ Heading up the imprint, which he founded in 1995, Christian has been involved in house and techno for close to three decades with releases on Cocoon, Drumcode, Plus8, Bedrock and many more.

Saxophone & DJ duo Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago team up for their Trick debut, with a summer house track ‘Angel (Thinking Of You)’. The pair have held successful residencies at Ibiza Rocks, Cafe Mambo and boast main stage appearances at festivals including Creamfields, Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza.

Both tracks see Hannah reach for vocal samples, heavy-hitting drums, and synth lines, possibly delivering some of her most accomplished work to date in the throes of ‘sold-out shows all over the UK and Ireland’.
