With five albums and a recent Grammy nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album under their belt; Ten City, comprising of Byron Stingily (lead singer/songwriter) and producer Marshall Jefferson recently released new single ‘A Girl Named Phil’ on Patrick Moxey’s Helix Records label.
1989 was a fortuitous time for Ten City as they unleashed their own brand of house music, packed with love and positivity. In the process, they possibly captured the imagination of the nation’s youth and transformed themselves into a household name. Now almost 25 years later and taken from their forthcoming album, ‘Judgement’ set for release this summer, they re-release the 1989 classic ‘That’s The Way Love Is’ now including a remix by NYC’s Louie Vega, out now on Ultra Music.
Byron Stingily and Marshall Jefferson recently announced Ten City’s fifth studio album, ‘Judgement’ with a re-work of their 1987 classic, ‘Devotion’. With four albums under their belt the band return with their fifth complete body of work, which is set for release 18 June via Ultra Music.
