Poker Flat label head Steve Bug returns to his longest running imprint, this time pairing up with No Idea's Original owner, DJ/producer Huxley for ‘L.O.V.E.’.
With six in six on Rejected Steve Bug is probably part of the family, as is his regular sparring partner Cle. However, for the first of this year, the Berlin-based producer flies solo on two late night tracks. Whilst describing the movements and sounds of the opening track to perfection, ‘Grumble Bumble’, is also a title that can deceive.
Completing the series that celebrates the legacy of two decades of Poker Flat Recordings, label-head Steve Bug drops another batch of reworks of the label's tracks. The EP kicks off with his 'A Night Like This' which originally dropped back in 2001. Here it gets the treatment from label ally Mihai Popoviciu - the Romanian producer brings a new twist, shaping the material into a streamlined tech-house track that is both faithful to the original and completely his own vibe.

Steve Bug and his label Poker Flat continue to make a contribution to the house and techno scene. Although dedicated to his own labels, Steve has attracted the attention of other imprints, including Bedrock, Knee Deep In Sound, Minus, Cocoon and Defected.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Poker Flat will be marking this milestone with a series of remixes of some of its releases from an array of artists, alongside a number of anniversary events over the coming months.
