Following the release of ‘Borderline’ in 2022 with remixes from Jamie Jones, Roman Flügel & Deetron, SeeMeNot now prepares to release her latest body of work: ‘LEADER: Giving Them Their Flowers’. A fusion of techno, melodic, and deep house sounds from some of her favourite producers, LEADER also plays with jazz, soul, and hip-hop sonics as SeeMeNot, who has Jamaican-Canadian roots, pays homage to the strength and wisdom of black and brown women who have gone before her.
The debut single from Jamaican-Canadian artist SeeMeNot, ‘Borderline’ was released at the end of 2020 on the artist’s own imprint Brainstream Music. Played by the likes of Solomun, TSHA, Skream, and many more, the vocal and lyricism possibly established her as a serious rising star, securing Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune and tipped as a one-to-watch by both DJ Mag and Beatportal.
The first disco-trip for possibly one of the finest voices in contemporary house music, SeeMeNot’s dancefloor biggest moment to date arrives with a remix of ‘Rapture’ from Gerd Janson. Available now on her label, Brainstream, the track is their fourth single, and follows January’s ‘Joan Of Arc’, supported by Simon Dunmore, Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Carl Craig, Martin Garrix, Kryder, Mousse T, John Digweed, and more.
SeeMeNot’s ‘Chez Renee’ is the second single from the Jamaican-Canadian artist and musician, and features remixes from Joe Goddard. Goddard’s radio edit is out now, with the full EP, including his full length and dub mixes, available from 4 December, alongside another new SeeMeNot song, ‘If I Could’.
