Truncate has remixed Ovum boss Wink before now having possibly established himself within the underground scene as a DJ/producer thanks to a groove-based sound that has seen him playing at techno venues such as Movement Festival, Awakenings, fabric, Berghain and many more. Philly's Wink, meanwhile, remains a figure in the scene with more than 30 years experience.
Josh Wink and Truncate come together again for a follow up collaboration on Wink’s Ovum Recordings. Wink has been a popular artist in the underground for decades, playing a techno sound as a DJ, label head and producer that takes in acid, deepness and plenty of drive. Truncate, meanwhile, is one of the new school artist with a sound built on heavy drums and grooves.
Josh Wink returns to his own Ovum Recordings for new single 'Balls Back', which comes with a remix from Marco Faraone. Philly-born DJ/producer and the man behind various techno cuts, Josh possibly remains as prominent now as he did a quarter of a century ago.
Josh Wink is responsible for many electronic tracks, including ‘Higher State Of Consciousness’, ‘Don’t Laugh’ and ‘How's Your Evening So Far?’. The Ovum Recordings boss also recently released his first solo effort for Radio Slave’s Rekids.
American DJ/producer, Josh Wink, has been involved in the dance music scene with a catalogue of music on labels like R&S, Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Pokerflat, M- Nus and his own long standing Ovum Recordings imprint.
