Shaun Ryder teams up Lee Scratch Perry on their new ‘Green Banana’ single. Taken from the forthcoming album ‘King Perry’, which is released on Tricky’s False Idols label (and who co-produced four of the album tracks), the single comes backed with a remix by the Bristolian duo Dubkasm. The album represents the final studio album written, produced, and recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Daniel Boyle in the months before Lee’s passing and concludes an almost endless discography to his name.

Last September, Tricky released his album ‘Fall To Pieces’ and recently he announced a remix EP with contributions from Trentemøller, Kahn, LA Timpa and Lafawndah. Four artists that are possibly known for their own production styles, recalibrate and incorporate Tricky’s music into their own sonic terrains.

False Idols, the label owned and run by Tricky, last week released an EP of remixes of the track ‘Same’ from Bristol production duo Smith & Mighty.

Tricky releases the video for the song ‘Makes Me Wonder’, featuring his touring vocalist Marta, taken from the ‘Test Of Time’ compilation released earlier this year on his label, False Idols.
