Pet Shop Boys recently released their remix of DJ and Producer Claptone’s ‘Queen of Ice’, taken from his latest studio album ‘Closer’. Continuing the run of album collaborations and the final single to be released, the track is another example of the DJ/producer showcasing his exploration of house with a pop flavour.
Clapton’s latest track ‘My Night' is a collaboration with APRE, co-produced with Stuart Price and probably has many of the ingredients a hit requires. The track shouts out to all those who’ve had a night out ruined by a close friend or loved one, who they ultimately feel responsible for - invoking memories of messy nights and bleary mornings.
With 'Zero’, Claptone finally dropped some new music, before inviting UK-based dubstep artist Skream and Chicago’s Gene Farris, to remix the original, with both versions out now on Different Recordings.
