Toolroom’s Mark Knight continues his string of collaborations as Darius Syrossian appears alongside him for the first time on the label. Darius Syrossian returns to Defected alongside US vocalist Jena for ‘E-Soul’. With a catalogue of club tracks already bursting at its seams, Darius Syrossian returns to DFTD for his latest delivery of potential dancefloor-ready house, following his collab with George Smeddles on the label Back In The Dance.
Born out of a lockdown night when their usual Saturday night plans were off limits, Defected regular Darius Syrossian and South Records boss George Smeddles decided to cook something up for the anticipated return to the club.
Arguably one of the most iconic house music moments, born from the black LGBTQ+ scene in Chicago at the legendary Warehouse nightclub and known as one of Frankie Knuckles' earliest productions; ‘Your Love’ is a classic.
Darius Syrossian makes a return to the label that helped establish him with two house tracks plus a remix from Alex Ranerro. UK veteran Syrossian now heads up his own label Moxy Muzik, but in earlier years was a VIVa Music artist. He has also released on the likes of Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, Robsoul and Defected.
