It’s getting close to the release of Paul Oakenfold’s new studio album, ‘Shine On’. During the summer of 2020, the album’s first single was revealed as ‘The World Can Wait’ featuring the voice of Luis Fonsi, an artist most recognised for his work in ‘Despacito’ with Justin Bieber, which has collectively gained over 20 billion streams.
Following on from the success of his track, ‘Cinema’, Benny Benassi has enlisted Swedish duo Galantis for a rework, after a decade since its release. With the original already having over 500m combined streams, as well as support from BBC Radio 1 and more, the track has still remained popular since it dropped in 2011.
Kicking of 2021, Benny Benassi and R&B singer, Jeremih enlist Varmix, Boss Doms, Crazy Cousinz and Riccardo Marchi for four reworks of ‘Lovelife’, which are out now on Ultra Records. With #1’s, Billboard Hot 100 spots, billions of streams and Grammy Awards between them, the collaborative cut aimed to lift spirits with Benny’s production skills and funky rhythms, whilst Jeremih’s vocal chops made a crossover track.
In what has already been a busy year with collaborations with artists including CeCe Rogers, Burak Yeter and BB Team, Benny Benassi is now joined by singer songwriter, Blush and Mutungi on his latest track, ‘End of Summer’ , which is out now on Ultra Records.
