Long term collaborators John Digweed and Nick Muir follow up on Island Hill’s February 2023 album ‘Strangers In Paradise’ with a pair of remixes for its second single ‘1000 Lives’. Following a Red Axes Remix of ‘Killer of Fate’ to accompany the album release, these two new indie-dance inspired reworks offer a different perspective on the outfit’s pop-leaning sound, and follow a string of Digweed & Muir remixes of the same ilk, for the likes of Underworld and New Order, amongst others.

Franky Wah makes his debut release on Bedrock Records with the two-track EP, ‘Dopa La Vita’ / ‘Mandé’. Franky kicks off the year for the imprint and ticks off yet another bucket list label release, in addition to labels such as Anjunadeep, Last Night on Earth, Afterlife and more. Here, he pushes his sound further underground, with hazy overtones and a deep, rolling bassline.

Spanish DJ/producer EdOne, is possibly one of the most authentic rising talents on the underground circuit, championing his techno sound that is both progressive and yet familiar. Making his Bedrock debut in January of 2021 with his ‘Cramp’ EP, he now returns to the imprint with another three-tracker.

Bedrock Records recently announced the release of an upcoming album compilation that will feature four individual studio-length albums from label artists Quivver, Captain Mustache, Satoshi Fumi, and Lopezhouse. Staying true to the “Quattro” theme created in his past two compilation album releases, John Digweed decided to shift the limelight towards some of the most promising producers from his imprint.

Quivver has apparently been a firm favourite for John Digweed’s Bedrock Records since his first release, ‘Yeah Yeah’ over a decade ago. Now with an arsenal of lockdown creations, the British artist recently announced a montage of ten brand new compositions, which together, will form the ‘Revelate’ LP, to be released on 15 October. The forthcoming body of work will mark his third studio album to date and his first long player contribution to Digweed’s label.
