The Association For Electronic Music (AFEM) recently launched a new survey exploring neurodiversity in the electronic music industry workplace, the first of its kind in the industry. The survey will be crucial in helping inform organisations and employees alike about what it’s like to work in the electronic music industry with a neurodiverse condition or employ people that have one.

Electronic music organisations Pioneer DJ, Beatport, Sentric Music Group, AFEM, Mixmag, RA, IMS, and Women in CTRL partner with InChorus to launch the Electronic Music Inclusion Initiative (EMII, pron. Emmy) to take a data-led approach to creating more inclusive environments across the industry.

The Association for Electronic Music has launched a Code of Conduct against sexual harassment and gender discrimination. This Code of Conduct is launched with support from its membership of over 220 companies, including SheSaid.So and ADE quoting their endorsement, and media partners Mixmag, DJ Mag, RA, Beatportal, Attack Magazine to help prevent sexual harassment and gender / gender identity discrimination within the electronic music industry.
