Axwell /\ Ingrosso recently announced a brand new initiative, #THISTIME: a pledge to better the lives of children unable to return to their homes. With their new single ‘This Time’ primed for release later this year, the Swedish duo have pledged to donate all net profits to the UNHCR, a UN supported initiative making life better for those forced away from their homes.

The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll powered by 7UP has a new winner(s). Armin van Buuren received the first copy of his ‘Embrace’ album yesterday. The CD is the very first physical issue of Armin’s sixth full-length artist album, to be released on 29 October by record label Armada Music. Armin was handed a briefcase containing the physical album copy by fly board pilot Bo Krook during his performance in the Amsterdam canals.

Since first arriving on the scene in 2011, Dannic has released over 30 singles, three of his Dannic Selection EPs, achieved a Top 30 position in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, and played shows in front of clubbers around the world. With this already under his belt, he now launches his own imprint Fonk Recordings.

Almost five years since Hardwell founded the label, Revealed Recordings celebrates its 200th release with Hardwell teaming up with vocalist Jake Reese for ‘Mad World’. First debuted back in March during his set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Hardwell played the track throughout the summer and after positive feedback, decided to make it the 200th release.

Italian DJ Mauro Picotto started his DJ career in the late-80s, imposing his name and style on the global techno scene, climbing the charts during the late-90s with tracks like ‘Lizard’, ‘Komodo’, ‘Proximus’ and ‘Iguana’, apparently even becoming the first DJ to be invited to mix live on Top Of The Pops.
