Last Night on Earth founder Sasha’s latest release finds him working again with Newcastle-based producer and vocalist Artche, who has already collaborated with the likes of Franky Wah and Cristoph on Eric Prydz's Pryda Presents and also released solo on SHÈN Recordings.
Artche: “It’s so great to be back on Last Night On Earth and even more so with it being my second collaboration with Sasha. I’ve always loved the eclectic style of both Sasha and his label's music and wanted to follow suit with the two mixes. One is a club-driven record, and the second one focuses more on the electronica side of both our styles.”
'Hold On' is a track lit up with sweeping synths, melodies and a bass rolling down below. Vocal sounds shimmer amongst the chords and the whole track aims to make an emotional impact.
The Artche Mix works the drums into airy, dusty broken beats that bring a different vibe while the original vocals and synths remain in place to tug at the heartstrings.
