UK D&B DJ/production duo Sigma recently dropped their second track for 2025; ‘Chemicals’ featuring Mali-Koa, out now on Day Ones. Now fully independent and with a strategy to release a whole series of tracks throughout the year, they continue to deliver their D&B sound. They are now armed with a new label, new music, rising artist collaborations, and the plan to establish a new legacy in D&B on the foundations they laid over a decade ago.

In their style that runs throughout their new releases, Sigma fuse the energy of ‘90s rave with contemporary production on the track. Delivering a sound with throbbing basslines, synths, and a chorus, this is a definitive throwback to the early days when their sound was becoming established. With support already coming from Capital Dance on heavy rotation and spotlight on Mistajam's show.
For this they collaborate with Mali-Koa, the Australian vocalist and songwriter based in London. She is one half of the electronic music duo AR/CO, bringing her sound and style onto this new release.
With a brand new video, the track follows on from ‘Chargie’ feat Scrufizzer and Jamakabi, clocking over 300K steams in the first week of release.
Sigma: "Lyrically, ‘Chemicals’ is a record about the natural high we experience in our lives via the experiences we have around music ‘let’s go somewhere only we know.”
