Black Hole Recordings has just released the latest ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ compilation, its twentieth edition. To acknowledge the occasion, a large edition was required with a six-mix/disc/DJ odyssey, and that’s exactly what the label has delivered.
York begins his mix with his ‘Reachers Of Civilisation’, as Tiësto did 25 years before him!? He finishes with ‘Farewell To The Moon’ – possibly the most ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ title ever.
Markus sees out his disc with his ‘lost’ 2019 ISOS remix of Accadia’s ‘Into the Dawn’; while Solarstone includes ‘Solarcoaster’ and Super8 & Tab include Super8 & DJ Tab’s 'Helsinki Scorchin’ - prime movers in the ‘003 – Panama’ and ‘004 – Latin America’ editions. In addition, both Markus and ZOYA include Chicane, perhaps the most ISOS-embodying producer there is.
The compilation amounts to six DJs, 100+ tracks, 450+ musical minutes and 25 years of electronic music history, all celebrated through this one release.
The album is available to order now as a six-disc-boxset, six-mix digital release, triple-vinyl, and through all good streaming channels.
