Patrick Topping returns to his Trick label this summer with his new track, ‘Energy’. The Geordie artist and his imprint have been part of the electronic scene for a few years now, apparently giving rise to an array of breakout talent and sounds like Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing, and Schak to name a few.
With a list of accolades to his name including ‘Best British DJ’ at the 2022 DJ Mag awards and appearances on stages from Hï Ibiza to festivals like Tomorrowland and Glastonbury, he is still a popular DJ.
Patrick Topping: “The title of this track sums up the vibe! Just a pure energy blast from start to finish. Hannah did such a massive, euphoric vocal, so I kept the beat techy and heavy as a contrast. Been causing scenes all over this, with so many asking for its ID. One of my favourite things I’ve ever made.”
