Simina Grigoriu has been breezing through career milestones in recent years. Following an inaugural release on Drumcode Ltd with ‘Flight Tracker’ in December 2023, which was featured on Vol. 12 of the imprint’s ‘A-Sides’ compilation series, the Berlin-based artist now returns with her debut EP for the label, ‘Declare Me’.
The EP aims to encapsulate the essence of driving techno, tailored for those intense peak time moments. 'Declare Me', 'Astral Waters', 'Technology Of Prayer' and 'The Right Calibre' are crafted for darkened, sweaty clubs, with relentless beats and deep, resonant basslines that aim to keep the energy high and the dancefloor moving.
Simina’s rise to prominence has been marked by her dedication and sound palette. From her early days as a DJ to her transition into a producer, she has aimed to push the boundaries of techno music, opting for a raw and refined strain of the genre that celebrates Berlin’s club culture.
