Possibly one of the freshest voices coming out of the UK house underground LEGATO is back in 2024, now releasing his music via LabelWorx. His second single ‘Stay’ sees him fuse classic piano house with modern production soundscapes.
The piano hook is matched by a vocal cut, bassline, and percussive groove. It aims to be one of this year’s summer anthems in the club circuit, with DJs Lane 8, Elderbrook, Icarus, Preditah, Horse Meat Disco, and Sam Divine all already supporting.
James Stanley’s LEGATO project launched in 2019 with releases on Eton Messy, Nightcolours, Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream, seeing him amass six million streams and apparently regularly holding #1 on Beatport’s Melodic House and Organic House charts.
