Tipped by DJ Mag as ‘one to watch’, GAWP has worked under several different aliases before now and is no stranger to the game. The Leeds-based talent has toured alongside Oliver Heldens and Gene Farris, and landed on the likes of Dirtybird, elrow, Toolroom and many more. Now,he turns his sights to Studio 338’s label 32 Endz with his latest release.
Opener 'Everything You Need' is stripped-back with a catchy garage swing in the drums, dusty kicks looping down low and an ominous vocal line.
'Aftermath' offers up more of a moody soundscape with raw tech drums and hi-hats, as ghoulish samples aim to bring further late-night mischief to its groove.
GAWP ‘Everything You Need’ is out now via Studio 338’s 32 Endz.
