Open to women, trans and non-binary artists, Change the Beat and mau5trap recently announced a competition to remix deadmau5 and Lights’ ‘When The Summer Dies’.
Multiple JUNO Award-winning and GRAMMY®-nominated artist deadmau5 continues to push the boundaries of his talent, whilst throughout her career, Lights has garnered four JUNO Awards, including “Dance Recording of the Year” and “Pop Album of the Year.” She has also collaborated with deadmau5, Kaskade, Travis Barker, Steve Aoki, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park and more.
Over a decade since its formation, mau5trap, the label founded by deadmau5, has continued to push new artists, with Mixmag readers voting it among the “Top 50 Labels of the Decade”, placing it in the Top 10.
Now the label is offering an opportunity to remix ‘When the Summer Dies’ for a chance at an official release along with other prizes.
