Tronic, Planet-E and SCI+TEC artist Greg Gow’s ‘Soul Seek’ EP on Rekids Special Projects launches with ‘35 Fathoms’, a house-meets-techno cut in which he imbues the machines with funk and soul.
The track sees Canadian Gow channel both Detroit and the early Toronto rave scene, with the title track containing drums and dub chords which drone under its top-end.
‘Sleeping Prophet’ continues with grooves and synth work before dancefloor track ‘Pocket Lighter’ closes affairs with Greg calling in a vocal, rich melody and chugging, shaking drums.
