Izaakson has apparently earned his reputation in the scene over the last two decades and has spent the last 10 years solely focused on running his label. But after several invites to return to the forefront, he is now back playing and making fresh sounds once more. The first music of this new chapter has come on Memoria Records as well as Cardinal and Invade Records, and earlier this year, he launched the "IZIL" project with Massimo Girardi and Ilario Liburni.
Now in solo mode, he offers up some possible club-ready grooves. Opener 'Troy' is a stripped-back tech cut with synths circling around the snares. Vocal fragments drop in and out as the kicks power along this backroom cut.
'Tek No' is a reduced brew of synth modulations and drums. It comes alive with tripped-out melodic phrases as the bass aims to keep you locked. 'Nomad’s effects and vocals bring it to life next to its acid-tinged synths.
'Rosada' closes down with synth leads over drums and bassline.
