Rio De Janiero’s house producer blasts onto Big Love with a signature DJ Meme outing, ‘Century’, fusing American and European pop culture with classic house influences.
This time he uses Richard Strauss’s orchestral work ‘Sunrise’, popularised by Stanley Kubrick in the 1968 classic ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, an instantly recognisable sample that has forever become synonymous with the sound of the future.
Now the iconic work gets the Big Love treatment, as DJ Meme adds a healthy dose of funk and groove to the bold original, marking another release for the international favourite.
As we were the first to say years ago, he’s Brazilliant.
It’s out 8 September.
