Techno artist DEAS returns to Planet Rhythm with the ‘Tanzhaus’ EP. The Bau Muzik label boss joins the Rotterdam imprint for his eighth release on the label, with the track ‘Black Air’ coming in with drums, hi-hats hissing and crackling among dub-chords, occasionally interrupted by the flash of plucks.
The title track of the EP continues, the space between its kicks filled with droning percussion while bleeps dance throughout. ‘Dark Line’ is next, a brooding trip featuring melodics and shadowy sequences.
This techno offering from the CLR, A R T S and ARA artist, demonstrated in ‘Cut’, which drops the curtain in raw techno fashion.
Planet Rhythm drops another package from the Polish artist, showcasing his groove-laden production style which is apparently already supported by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Rodhad, Marcel Dettmann, Ancient Methods and many more.
