Franky Wah makes a return to Anjunadeep with the release of ‘Call My Name’ featuring Rae Morris. The single is part of his upcoming ‘Call My Name’ EP, scheduled for release on 11 August on the label.
Franky initially made his mark on the label in 2021 with his track ’Should Have Seen It Coming’, featuring AETHO. The single has apparently amassed over nine million streams to date, and has received airplay, including playlist support from Sirius XM, and over 30 BBC Radio 1 plays, including a Hottest Record accolade from Annie Mac.
Since then, he has released two EPs on the label, along with a string of singles, collaborating artists including Carl Cox, Sasha, Pete Tong, Cristoph, Vintage Culture and more.
The release sees Franky collaborate with British singer-songwriter Rae Morris. Possibly known for her previous work with Lane 8 on the track ’No Fun’ and her discography of solo material, she has apparently received critical acclaim by Clash, NME and The Guardian and also gained supporters at BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM.
Franky’s touring schedule for the summer includes playing over 40 dates, with his debut headline residency in Ibiza at Club Chinois and performances at festivals including EDC Vegas, Creamfields, Tomorrowland and Electric Zoo. Additionally, he will join a lineup at Anjunadeep Open Air London in Finsbury Park on 13 August 13, where his performance will feature a special guest vocalist.
