Paul van Dyk and Ciaran McAuley combine forces to create new single ‘Someone Like You’, which is now available to stream from VANDIT Records. The track is a van Dyk thumping 4/4 beat, driving a path with atmosphere and synths to create emotional instrumental electronic music.
It comes at a time of activity for van Dyk. Earlier this month, he kicked off the Ibiza season at Shine Ibiza at Club Eden (he also released the club’s official anthem song, ‘Beautiful Life’), while earlier this year, he launched his new VENTURE X tour concept where he sources from trance, progressive house and techno music and brings it all together during one evening. The rest of the summer will be filled with new original releases and tour dates on the road towards his studio album, ‘Off The Record’.
As a standalone DJ/producer and formerly as one half of trance duo Walsh & McAuley, Ciaran (pronounced Kier-ran) has been responsible for various music in recent times, and the Irishman is involved in the charge of nu-breed talent breaking out into the mainstream. With the release of singles such as recent VANDIT single ‘Together We Rise’ and his tracks ‘All I Want’ and ‘You and I,’ he is apparently garnering support worldwide.
You will be able to hear van Dyk play the track during his festival summer at Luminosity, Airbeat One, Sunrise Festival, Parookaville, Mind Festival, Nature One, Medusa, Mysteryland, Glücksgefühle, EDC China, and many more.
They will likely be featuring the single when they play together at Shine Ibiza on 21 September.
