‘Heaven’, originally released in 2019, possibly served as a benchmark for what modern house music should sound like. The record from Ben Westbeech and KON’s The Vision project was huge on stages around the world, receiving support from a plethora of top house artists; Gerd Janson, Danny Krivit, Horse Meat Disco, The Blessed Madonna, Groove Armada and Eli Escobar to name just a few.
The track went on to be remixed by Nightmares On Wax and Mousse T., possibly cementing The Vision as ones to watch in the coming years.
Now, UK DJ/producer Groove Assassin takes on the debut release, featuring MOBO nominated artist and Westbeech’s longtime collaborator Andreya Triana. The selector, remixer and producer interpolates warmly familiar music from house artists to form ‘Hallelujah In Heaven’, a rough cut of house music for the genre.
