Ferreck Dawn and Todd Terry join forces on their house single ‘Get On Down’ which is out now on Insomniac Records. Dutchman Ferreck has been on the grind in the house scene for more than 20 years, releasing dancefloor-aimed tracks with soul, melody and drum work.
Todd is a pivotal figure from the house movement, a Grammy-nominated producer/remixer at the helm of the genre since he first broke out in the UK during the late-80s. The two seasoned vets are joining forces on this new collabm, which has a classic disco flavour, built around vocal commands, rhythms, drum loops and tension-building breakdowns.
Ferreck has enjoyed radio support from specialist shows including BBC Radio 1 (Pete Tong, Danny Howard), Kiss, Capital Dance, Slam FM. He has upcoming gigs at Hide Out Festival (Croatia), Defected Malta + Ibiza + Croatia, Tomorrowland and The Masquerade Pacha Ibiza.
Todd has made himself popular after repeat global success with his work on Everything But The Girl's ‘Missing’, The Cardigans' ‘Lovefool’, Jamiroquai's ‘Alright’ and Robin S' ‘Give You All That I've Got’.
