Six-piece British band Northling return to the Reflections nfamily for their first solo release with new single ‘Damselfly’; the lead track from their upcoming EP ‘Tycho’, that is due for release on 5 September.
Starting as an improvisational band in 2017, the band quickly developed their sound, drawing on their wide range of musical influences, from electronica to nu-jazz; earning them recognition from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and BBC Introducing.
Layering vocals alongside piano melodies and dynamics, they show off their live instrumentation and flair for emotive songwriting on the the new single.
‘Damselfly’ is out now and ‘Tycho EP’ is out 5 September on Reflections.
