Having sold 16 million plus records globally, the productions of Nigel Lowis are rooted in Motown influences and the Philadelphia sound of the ‘60s and ‘70s, not forgetting his South London ties.
‘Brotherly Love’ carries the same weight as his previous productions, as possibly one of Chicago’s most revered DJs Jamie 3:26 and Rotterdam DJ and producer Danou P step up to the plate for remix duties.
The two soak the record in disco and funk influences, delivering their South Street Soul Strut Mix and Dub alongside Nigel’s original version. In Big Love fashion, deep, soulful house sounds feature yet again as different eras fuse together.
It’s out 29 April.
