Born out of a lockdown night when their usual Saturday night plans were off limits, Defected regular Darius Syrossian and South Records boss George Smeddles decided to cook something up for the anticipated return to the club.
With just a vocal to work with, they decided to produce something with a ‘90s, uplifting vibe that dancefloors may be needing. Aiming to demonstrate the dancefloor-ready grooves seen on their previous collabs like ‘Get Toast’ and ‘Blood Orange’, this latest joint venture once again should work well.
With its deep organ bassline, playful keys and 4/4 swing, this record aims to ooze club appeal from the producers.
It’s out 4 March on DFTD.
