Following the release of ‘Acid Dip’ in October, Matt Edwards, aka Radio Slave, revisits the single, introducing a stomping 4/4 pattern and 303 acid lines atop elements of the original. One of the final releases on Rekids for 2021, the label boss rounds out the year for the label, which has seen albums and EPs from Joaquin Claussell, Mark Broom, Robert Hood, Ian Pooley, and many others.
Radio Slave: “I’d always envisioned ‘Acid Dip’ to have a 303 in the track. I finally got to play the original at the Berghain Garten in September, and the reaction was great, but I knew I had to go back to the studio and create a full-on techno mix. It’s been an incredible 12 months for Rekids, and naming the remix ‘Emergency On Planet Acid’ seems the perfect way to say goodbye to 2021.”
Radio Slave ‘Acid Dip (Emergency On Planet Acid Remix)’ is out now on Rekids.
