For its 2021 outing, ‘In Search Of Sunrise’’s gatekeepers’ Black Hole Recordings have been thorough in their selection of the 17th edition’s mixers. One shoe-in is Markus Schulz, here helming his fourth mix, and again bringing it with new material - both from his own and others’ hands.
The release’s mid-disc artist is a man possibly known for his multi-lane approach to electronic music. Of late, Kryder’s been laying down some of his trance-proggiest material in years, making the timing of his ‘ISOS’ call-up just right. Also involved is Kyau & Albert, who take the reins of the last disc to deliver an 80 minute mix.
Through their combined mixes, the compilation’s latest trip includes an array of musical offerings, both from inside the trance realm and out. Among them you’ll find tracks from Above & Beyond, Solarstone, BT and Andy Moor; classic names like York, Darren Tate, Johan Gielen and Mesh; as well as newer entities - Tinlicker and Dosem among them.
Also bringing ‘ISOS 17’ their latest studio-wares are Schulz, Kryder and Kyau & Albert, often in an exclusive and sometimes even purpose-built capacity.
