Italian duo The Deepshakerz release their ‘Twitch’ EP on Kittball this month. Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore, aka The Deepshakerz, are two multi-faceted artists with material that has previously been released on labels such as Defected, Snatch!, VIVa MUSiC, Toolroom, and more.
They have gained support from the likes of Groove Armada, Mark Knight, and Roger Sanchez while building a reputation as remix artists for Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson and Kerry Chandler.
Following the release of their ‘Weird Chant’ EP on the label last year, they now return to Kittball to add another offering to the label’s catalogue. The record opens with ‘Dondolo’, a late-night track that combines percussion with a bassline and vocal snippets over its five and a half minutes duration.
On the flip, ‘Twitch’ is an energetic and atmospheric work that fuses rhythms with warped effects and additional vocals to complete the package.
‘Twitch’ by The Deepshakerz drops via Kittball on 9 September.
