John Digweed’s Bedrock Records has delivered a stream of music in 2021 that aims to showcase that the creativity of its artists has been flourishing during this difficult time. Following his inclusion in Digweed’s ‘Quattro’ compilation with ‘Free Your Mind’, DJ Samer returns to the label to deliver his new single ‘Diaspora’, which is out now.
‘Diaspora’ is progressive house, serving percussion and dark undertones. Hypnotic in its effect, the cut is founded on soundscapes and subtle instrumentation, with injections of acid-tinged synth-work giving the track its identity. The cut dips and peaks throughout its 7-minute run-time, with layering adding a depth of sound, showcasing his experience and production abilities.
