Cafe Mambo recently announced that they are bringing a host of dance music acts to Rainton Arena, Durham on Saturday 18 September. The lineup is made up of Roger Sanchez, saxophonists Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, The Shapeshifters, Ferreck Dawn and Cafe Mambo resident Danny O.
Roger Sanchez has held prominent residencies in Ibiza since the year 2000, including Pacha, Space and Amnesia. He has a strong connection with the Defected brand and has played shows across all five continents over the last 20 plus years.
Next up on the bill are saxophonist and DJ duo Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago. Often found over summer months bringing sunset vibes at Cafe Mambo, Laura plays renditions of classic tracks and club anthems alongside her partner Ben on the decks.
The Shapeshifters have sustained a career in house music for over 15 years and are best known for their track ‘Lola’s Theme’. Their music and sets consist of funky basslines, brass sections, Rhodes pianos and vocals.
Ferreck Dawn is next up on the bill, the deep house and tech house music artist has been on the scene for over 18 years now and has had releases on Defected, Toolroom and Mother.
Warming up on the evening will be Cafe Mambo resident Danny O.
Rainton Arena is located in the Durham area of the North-East of England. An indoor 2000 capacity indoor event venue it's one of the largest in the North-East. The venue will be fully kitted out on the night for the full Ibiza experience for all in attendance.
