Defected are set to make their US radio show debut tomorrow on the satellite dance music station, SiriusXM. “House Music All Life Long” aims to be an immersive escape designed with only one purpose in mind - to deliver listeners directly into the sweet bosom of house music for two full hours each month.
The new show will air monthly on Diplo’s Revolution Channel 52. Diplo has apparently been a staunch supporter of Defected music and artists across his radio shows and platforms for many years, and he had this to say about taking on the new show.
Diplo: “Defected has always been a staple for house music and they continue to push the genre forward. It’s been great to showcase their releases these last few years on the channel and I’m excited to bring this show to Diplo’s Revolution.”
In addition to bringing new and exclusive music from established artists the label will also provide a platform for rising talent from around the globe to be discovered and heard. Listeners can apparently expect a real diversity of music that celebrates the gleaming facets of house music- in all its forms- and enjoy additional one-off shows and specialty broadcasts that will satiate any house-heads’ musical appetite.
Wez Saunders, Managing Director Defected Records: “We are delighted to be launching our new House Music All Life Long show on Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM. We have been fans of the station and the channel from afar, and to make our US radio debut here is a pleasure. We look forward to providing our US fans with the sounds of Defected and family on ‘House Music All Life Long’.”
'House Music All Life Long' will air 7 March at 10pm ET on Diplo’s Revolution channel 52 (SiriusXM).
