GoldFish have five artist albums to their name and apparently well over 18 million streams for 2019 single ‘Colours & Lights’, with Brazilian brothers Cat Dealers. The South African act are now starting to build momentum for the release of their sixth artist album with another track, ‘Forever Free’. Talking about love and taking the leap, the track is narrated by the vocals of Nate Highfield and Silver on an instrumental backdrop.
GoldFish: “We wanted to write something that reminds us all that even though the world is locked down, we are forever free in our minds. The track goes through many ebbs and flows to capture the feeling of unlimited possibilities, that we are all capable of anything. We feel that it’s the kind of uplifting song everybody needs right now.”
Since locking themselves in their bedroom studio and emerging with debut album ‘Caught In The Loop’ in 2006, GoldFish have continued to grow both as producers and on the live front. They have had many performances and festival appearances, a top 10 in the iTunes Dance chart in the United States, an MTV Africa award, a four-year residency at Pacha Ibiza and a list of support that runs from Sam Feldt and Klingande to Thomas Jack and Robin Schulz.
