A presence on Anjunafamily for over a decade, Hungary’s Sunny Lax has apparently shown a flair for catchy melodies and uplifting chord progressions that have seen his music take flight on various stages around the world. Looking to broaden his sound further, next month sees the release of his first extended body of work, the ‘End Of Our Time EP’, featuring five tracks.
Honed on the road during his recent run on Jason Ross’ ‘1000 Faces’ tour’, ‘Mother’ is the first single to emerge from the EP.
Sunny Lax: “The relationship between mother and child is one of the deepest and most beautiful connections humans can have. This true, unconditional love is so powerful, it defines our whole life. As the mother gives birth and raises a child it’s similar to our mother nature, as it gave life to all of the species on this planet. And this connection or love should be mutual, but we tend to forget about it. We forget that we're all children of the same mother here, we forget that we're all brothers and sisters. And this brings disharmony into our lives. But we can always change, we just need to realise and understand the importance of these powerful connections before it's not too late. This thought inspired my track 'Mother'. Appreciate, love and take care of your mother and your family!“
Sunny follows in the footsteps of Andrew Bayer, ilan Bluestone and Jason Ross, who have all contributed concept EPs to the Anjunabeats catalogue.
