Laidback Luke has added his sound to the Deorro, Elvis Crespo, and Henry Fong’s collab ‘Pica’. Building on the Latin-influenced dance fusion of the original, his remix is aimed at the dancefloor with high energy from the get-go. Fusing pop, salsa, and dance music, the track brought together Ultra Music staple Deorro, GRAMMY® and LATIN GRAMMY® award-winning Latin artist Elvis Crespo, and Henry Fong for a synthesis of their combined styles.
Laidback Luke has a history of remixes covering Madonna, Depeche Mode, Robin Thicke, Tiesto and the chart-topping remake of Robin S’ classic ‘Show Me Love’.
His production and DJ skills, and his interest in emerging styles and artists have built a successful career for the artist and Mixmash label head.
In addition to his updated version of the track, the remix pack also includes a fresh offering from Brazilian duo, Cat Dealers, who bring an extra layer of partay to the table.
‘Pica’ follows the success of Deorro and Elvis Crespo’s first collaboration, ‘Bailar’, which won a Billboard Latin Music Award in 2017.
