Following his successive run of Beatport #1s (with ‘Panama’, ‘Tranceland’ & ‘8K’), ‘Colours’ is the fourth of Giuseppe’s releases, leading the trail to his new ‘Evolver’ artist album. A piece of music that organically sprang to life during club sets, its most essential elements were live jammed instinctively by Ottaviani, motivated by the crowd’s response.
Premiered in its Live 2.0 version as the opening track of Giuseppe’s ASOT900 Utrecht set, it apparently gathered immediate online attention. Just a few weeks later, during a #Evolver G.O. Live recording session, he brought the last piece of the fourth wall down, studio live-streaming ‘Colours’ transition to fully-formed club track.
A high-wire feat of flaming pitch-wheels, tech-incessancy and abass, mixed with both melodic warmth and uplift, you can experience (or re-experience!) the making of ‘Colours’ below.
