Booka Shade return to their own Blaufield Music imprint with two cuts entitled ‘The Unseen’ and ‘Banderas’. With recent releases via John Digweed’s Bedrock, Toolroom Trax and their own imprint, the German duo’s current club-driven output has apparently welcomed a wealth of support from all corners of the dance music community.
Having spent the past few months on a worldwide tour with shows across the USA, Australia & New Zealand, Asia, South America, The Middle East and beyond, including a recent return to London’s Printworks alongside Stephan Bodzin, the duo now returns to Blaufield to reveal two of their latest road-tested productions to open the summer months ahead.
Up first, ‘The Unseen’ draws on touches of classic Booka Shade material as resonant lead lines blossom over percussion arrangements and sweeping atmospherics, whilst ‘Banderas’ takes things up a notch, unleashing a medley of warping, ever-evolving melodies, builds and synths to close out proceedings.
