Taking their influence within house music one step further, London-based clubbing brand Defected recently announced its first ever stand-alone UK festival on 14 September 2019. During the year that celebrates the independent house music label’s 20th birthday under the slogan ‘HOUSE MUSIC ALL LIFE LONG’, Defected London FSTVL aims to bring together over 10,000 people to showcase some of the best headline house acts, underground artists and crossover DJs that showcase the label.
The one-day festival will host five stages curated by the label, sub-labels and associates in a London location yet to be announced.
Defected London FSTVL will be Defected’s biggest ever date in the capital, building on the success of recent sell out shows at Ministry of Sound, Studio 338 and Printworks.
With an expected demand, the 10,000+ capacity festival seems the natural next step, which aims to draw the thousands of clubbers from far afield who apparently already travel every year to Defected’s summer seasons in Ibiza and 6-day festival in Croatia, as well as touring around the world including the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, South East Asia and beyond.
