Having recently won Best Club Night and Best Club respectively in White Ibiza’s 2018 Best of Ibiza Readers Choice Awards for their second year, Glitterbox and Hï Ibiza recently announced their plans for summer 2019. Reflecting the success of 2018’s residency, Glitterbox’s weekly party will move from Fridays to Sundays for an extended season of 20 dates, running from 26 May to 6 October.
2018 was a big year for Glitterbox as the brand gathered pace both locally in Ibiza and globally. Over the past 12 months, apparently over 150,000 people have experienced a Glitterbox dancefloor, from a second season at Hï Ibiza as well as parties in New York, Zurich, Sydney, Amsterdam, Lyon, Hamburg and Manchester, from London’s Printworks and Ministry of Sound to festival stages at Tomorrowland in Belgium, Croatia and We Are FSTVL to name only a few.
With a line-up of the freshest disco talent and classic house artists yet to be announced, Glitterbox will take over Hï Ibiza every Sunday with 2019’s crew of drag queens, dancers and performers, bringing the latest anthems from the label to life on the dancefloor.
With its immersive, uplifting confetti moments, all-inclusive crowd and soundtrack of nu-disco, classic house and fresh vocal sounds, Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza is synonymous with 21st century disco.
Hï Ibiza is the setting to experience everything that Glitterbox has to offer, its main room or ‘Theatre’ is a contemporary ballroom for Glitterbox’s disco drama and the ‘Club’ room a backdrop for losing inhibitions and letting loose. Not forgetting the ‘Wild Corner’ unisex toilets with its fully-equipped DJ booth, a unique and unexpected clubbing destination with a full programme of DJs throughout the summer.
