Fresh off the back of an apparent sellout inaugural show at Butlins’ Minehead last year, Cream returns to the resort for another weekender in the first week of December. Once again, it’s a showcase of the brand past and present, with some of the biggest names associated with the brand, joining clubbers who’ve made Cream their home over the years.
The three- day event which takes place at the seaside resort is a prime example of Butlins’ move into hosting clubbing weekenders, an experiment that has proven highly successful and is now a solid part of their calendar.
Teaming up with Cream offers an interesting twist on the traditional club weekender, as patrons can combine a good old clubbing session with daytime pool parties, fairground rides, plenty of food, and more than a decent handful of bars.
This year over 40 names from dance music come together with performances from the likes of Basement Jaxx, Leftfield, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Ben Nicky, Chicane, Danny Rampling, Darren Emerson, Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten, John 00 Fleming, John Kelly, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Judge Jules, K-Klass, Mauro Picotto, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul, Andy Mac, Andy Carroll, Anthony Probyn, Andy Joyce, Ed Mackie, Gareth Wyn, Paul Bleasdale, Rob Harnetty, Samuel Lamont and Stuart Hodson, with more to be announced.
